Your data is used to provide and improve SkillForge. Specifically:
- To display your profile, scores, and leaderboard rankings
- To evaluate your prompts using AI (Gemini API)
- To track your progress and streaks
- To send important account-related communications
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services: Supabase (database and authentication), Google Gemini (AI evaluation), Vercel (hosting), and Google OAuth (authentication). Each service has its own privacy policy governing how they handle your data.
4. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level security policies on our database, and secure authentication via Supabase. Your passwords are never stored in plain text.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data will be removed within 30 days. Anonymized usage data may be retained for analytics purposes.
6. Your Rights
You can access, update, or delete your data at any time through your account settings. You can also request a full export of your data by contacting us.
